Canada Summer Jobs – Youth Employment Program
Through the Canada Summer Jobs program, RAIM Full Cup of Kindness Canada provides paid summer employment opportunities for youth ages 15–30. These roles are designed to support skill development, workplace readiness, and meaningful community engagement.
Positions We Are Hiring For
As part of our Canada Summer Jobs – Youth Employment Program, RAIM is seeking youth to fill the following roles:
Creative Services Director
Role Overview
The Creative Services Director will support RAIM’s creative and visual initiatives through graphic design, branding, multimedia content creation, and storytelling that promotes community engagement and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with graphic design and visual content creation
- Support branding and marketing initiatives
- Create promotional materials for programs and events
- Assist with website visuals and digital media projects
- Support storytelling through creative content and media
- Collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator on campaigns
- Help maintain consistent visual identity across platforms
Qualifications & Requirements
- Youth aged 15–30 (Canada Summer Jobs eligibility)
- Self-identify as Black, including those from African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) communities.
- Interest in creativity, design, media, or communications
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe tools, or social media platforms is an asset
- Creativity, curiosity, and willingness to learn
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee protection under the law
- No formal design experience required
Social Media Coordinator
The Social Media Coordinator will support RAIM’s online presence by creating engaging digital content, promoting programs and events, and helping share the organization’s mission and community impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling and posting content on social media platforms
- Assist with graphic design and visual storytelling
- Support online promotion of programs and events
- Help maintain consistency across social media platforms
- Monitor engagement and assist with audience interaction
- Capture and organize photos/videos for content use
- Assist with website and communications updates
Qualifications & Requirements
- Youth aged 15–30 (Canada Summer Jobs eligibility)
- Self-identify as Black, including those from African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) communities.
- Strong interest in social media and digital communication
- Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Interest in communications, marketing, or media
- Organized, responsible, and comfortable working online
- Basic graphic design or Canva experience is an asset
Employment Initiatives Coordinator
Role Overview
The Employment Initiatives Coordinator will assist with employment readiness activities, youth engagement, and workforce development initiatives designed to support youth in gaining confidence, practical skills, and access to employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support youth employment and job readiness activities
- Assist with resume and interview preparation workshops
- Help coordinate employment-related resources and referrals
- Conduct outreach to employers and community partners
- Assist with participant tracking and reporting
- Support employment-focused events and initiatives
- Promote youth engagement and participation
Qualifications & Requirements
- Youth aged 15–30 (Canada Summer Jobs eligibility)
- Self-identify as Black, including those from African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) communities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor
- Ability to follow guidelines and scripts when provided
- Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is an asset
Event Coordinator
The Event Coordinator will support the planning and coordination of community events, workshops, outreach initiatives, and youth engagement activities that align with RAIM’s mission and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and organizing events and workshops
- Coordinate logistics, schedules, and event materials
- Communicate with vendors, volunteers, and community partners
- Support event promotion and participant registration
- Assist with event setup, coordination, and follow-up
- Help document event outcomes and feedback
- Participate in community outreach activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Youth aged 15–30 (Canada Summer Jobs eligibility)
- Self-identify as Black, including those from African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) communities.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Interest in event planning, youth work or community engagement is an asset
- Reliable and able to follow schedules
Community Services Officer - Social Services
Role Overview
The Community Services Officer – Social Services will support RAIM Full Cup of Kindness Canada in connecting youth, families, and community members with programs, resources, and support services. The role focuses on community engagement, relationship building, and assisting individuals navigating social and economic challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with community outreach and engagement activities
- Support youth and families in accessing available programs and resources
- Conduct follow-up communication with participants and community partners
- Assist with intake and program coordination activities
- Maintain accurate records and administrative documentation

- Promote RAIM’s mission and programs within the community
Qualifications & Requirements
- Youth aged 15–30 (Canada Summer Jobs eligibility)
- Self-identify as Black, including those from African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) communities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, professional, and community-minded
- Interest in youth development or community work
- Comfortable working with diverse groups
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
These positions are offered through the Canada Summer Jobs program and are subject to funding approval and program timelines. Training and supervision will be provided. Applicants must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee protection under the law
